Little Show: Boogie Your Spring Break Tour
Little Feat fuses many musical styles and genres, including California rock, funk, jazz, country and New Orleans swamp boogie, to name a few, together into something unique. Administrators of the Museum Studies Graduate Program at Syracuse University are pleased to present a new exhibit at the MUSE Lab Gallery. “This is Syracuse: Windows to the Community” features a selection from diverse populations, creative and intellectual activities, and notable institutions that help make Syracuse, Syracuse. A collection of stories from these communities will be on display for the rest of April. With a diverse array of objects and images, a large international student voice and Irish cultural objects represent one of the most established heritage communities in the city. Archival representations of established and beloved Syracuse landmarks are also explored, including regional favorites Green Lakes State Park, the Great New York State Fair, and Hydes Restaurant on Onondaga Lake. A reception on Monday from 6pm to 8pm is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Bark in the park
The Syracuse Mets will host the first “Bark in the Park” at NBT Bank Stadium during the 2023 baseball season. Bring your best four-legged friend and watch the game against the Durham Bulls at 6:30 in the dog-friendly parts of the ballpark. Admission for dogs is $5, with proceeds going to local animal rescues. The first 300 dogs get a free towel. Britt Floyd
Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd returns to Syracuse and Oncenter’s Kruse Hind Theater on Wednesday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the group’s original musical masterpiece, “Dark Side of the Moon.” The performance will feature music from Pink Floyd’s catalog. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $32.50 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Syracuse Fashion Week: Local Love
Syracuse Fashion Week kicks off Thursday night with “Local Love” at the historic Marriott Syracuse Downtown Ballroom. Please join us as we celebrate designers and models with new collections. Jay Ungar and Molly Mason
Masters of music and storytelling, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason are the latest musical acts brought to Syracuse by The Folks Project. They are one of the most celebrated duos in folk music, and Ungar’s haunting composition “Ashokan Farewell” received international acclaim after it became part of Ken Burns’ “Civil War” series. Toyfest
On Saturday, there will be 110 tables of new and vintage toys in the C&S Companies Science and Industry Building. The show starts at 9:30 but there will be an “Early Bird” period for $20. A sports memorabilia show will be held on Sunday in the same building at the same price and same time.

“Panacia”
Catch the premiere of “Panacea,” an award-winning short documentary this weekend at the OnCenter Carrier Theater. “Eastern Bloc”
The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra continues its chamber series on Sunday with Eastern Bloc, a program featuring the orchestra’s musicians and their friends. The program includes Arensky’s Piano Trio No. 1, Ligeti’s Six Bagelles for Wind Quintet, and Martin’s La Revue de Cuisine for Strings, Piano and Winds.
