The owner of a Robertsdale CBD store is accused of selling drugs from his business and home.

Robertsdale, Ala – The CBD store in Robertsdale was closed on Monday, July 11, 2022, after its owner was arrested for drug trafficking. Marijuana and cocaine were the only two drugs found.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Investigators have been complaining about the Casual Dispensary CBD store for a better year. On Friday, delegates raided a store on Robertsdale Highway 59 and Pennsylvania Street, where they found marijuana with VPS and cartridges, and suspected of having THC.

Prior to the search, agents arrested 28-year-old Brandon Stokes at his home.

“From the search warrant, we seized a variety of drugs … cocaine, LSD, ecstasy, marijuana. You named it, he had it, ”said Lt. Andre Reed with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

Micah de Angelo, 22, was arrested at his home in Vance Lane but charged less than Stoke.

Investigators say that over the past few months, undercover agents have purchased large quantities of Vapes and other illegal THC products. During the raids, agents obtained large quantities of drugs to prosecute drug trafficking and trafficking charges.

Along with the popularity of CBD treatment, investigators say, Stox was used as a front for the drug trade.

“It’s almost a disaster for people trying to do business the right way,” says Reid. “Look, he’s trying to hide like a businessman, he’s selling drugs to a lot of real young people here, he’s coming to the store, and so, that’s something we definitely want to deal with.

Since such stores may sell certain types and quantities of THC in their products, investigators would have to take the time to make this claim.
