The Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center at Texas Tech University will host a one-day in-person conference for businesses ready to grow their customer base through social media and increase their online business knowledge.
“Sharpening Your Digital Edge: Business, Social Media and Cyber Conference” will be held on August 17 at 9 am at the Willows Event Center, 6303 82nd Street, Lubbock.
“The world of marketing and business is changing rapidly,” Carla Holland, executive director of the Northwest Texas SBDC, said in a news release. “We want to create a forum to bring next-level training to local businesses to stay ahead of the curve without paying a high price to do so.”
Speakers and presenters from Texas and around the US, including Tik Tok, will participate in the conference, bringing new ideas that will have a significant impact on online and social media business strategy. The conference will provide attendees with new strategies, resources and best practices in e-commerce, marketing and online business protection.
This conference is supported by the Corona Virus Relief, Relief and Economic Security Act and the US Recovery Plan Fund. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided.
