Papi’s Food to open a location in Owings Mills

2 East Wales Afro-Latin fusion restaurant Papi Cuisine is opening in the former Don Pablo’s space in Owings Mills.

From the Baltimore Business Journal:

Co-owner Alex Perez confirmed to the Business Journal that the new restaurant will be located at 1 Restaurant Park Dr., off Red Run and Owings Mills Boulevard, next to Green Turtle Sports Bar & Grill and Red Robin. According to real estate listings website LoopNet, the building previously belonged to Don Pablo.

On Instagram, Pappy Food posted “Loading location #2.”

Charles Street event space ‘Suite1031’ opens.

Earlier this year, Suite1031 opened at 1031 S. Charles St. in Federal Hill. It opened. A variety of gallery and studio spaces are available for rent by the hour.

A medical cannabis certification business is opening in Federal Hill.

In recent months, Canamo Health opened at 912 Light St. in Federal Hill. Canamo took over the retail/office space formerly occupied by Jim Craig Allstate, which still has an office in Canton.

Cannamo provides certification advice to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. It also offers hemp products.

‘Hello Bonita’ moves across the street.

Hello Bonita Hair Salon has moved from 776 Washington Blvd. in Pigtown. to 761 Washington Blvd. Hello Bonita has taken over the last location Beaters 2 Grails Sneaker Laundry Mat has moved the business to a 9/10 condition sneaker boutique in Federal Hill.

Hello Bonita’s former position is currently open.

‘Light Street Hairdressers’ celebrates 25 years

Light Street Barbers celebrates its 25th anniversary in Federal Hill. It has been in business in the area since 1995 and opened in 1998 at 1536 Light St. in South Baltimore.

The business was started by hairdresser and owner Keith Wiebking. Customers can get haircuts from Moe and Young Barbers.

Bar from ‘Cafe Hon’ now in the second chance

The bar from the former Cafe Hon Hampden is getting a second chance in the Carroll-Camden industrial area.

PALM opens the kitchen.

Federal Hill live music bar The Palm, which opened in early March, recently opened its kitchen for food service. Using the abandoned coal-fired pizza oven of Social Pub, PALM offers a Nashville-inspired menu with Nashville hot chicken, fried green tomatoes, wood-fired wings, catfish po’ boy, BBQ sandwiches and platters, salads, mac and cheese and more. .
