Intermountain Healthcare taps chief digital executive

New title: Senior vice president, chief digital and information officer for the combined Intermountain Healthcare

Previous title: Senior vice president, chief information and digital officer at SCL Health

Richardville’s responsibilities include overseeing the health system’s technology, data and digital services for its expanded 33 hospitals and 385 clinics. Other duties include shaping the system’s technology strategy, operations, applications and cybersecurity.

Intermountain Healthcare completed its $11 billion merger with Catholic system SCL Health in April, boosting Intermountain’s footprint to states including Colorado, Montana and Kansas. 

Previously, Richardville served as the SVP, chief information and digital offer at SCL Health. Prior to his employment at SCL, he was the SVP and chief information and analytics officer at Atrium Health for over two decades.

Richardville has received numerous awards including the 2021 National CIO of the Year Healthcare ORBIE Award, the 2017 Carolinas CIO of the Year award and the 2020 Colorado CIO of the Year award.
