Coral Gables – Independence Day at the Biltmore Hotel is back after two years due to Kovid. Officials expect more than 40,000 people to celebrate our country’s birthday.

“Life, freedom and good times,” said David.

David is delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate Fourth in Biltmore, even presenting his “delightful” version of the Declaration of Independence.

And that brings families to Biltmore to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere.

“Respect for Family and American Independence,” said Laz, who took his family to Biltmore.

Even the little ones among us are happy.

“I love everything about Independence Day,” said Sophia, who was celebrating with her family.

It was the Coral Gable Police Department that made the transition to wireless technology to ensure everyone’s safety. Police at the command center can deploy drones to respond quickly to any problems on the field. The department will partner with Bond to use this high-tech tool.

“The team is very focused and active,” said Doron Campbell, Bond’s chief executive.

Kimball is ready to see the drone in action. Police only deploy on mission calls. It is not random monitoring. Once deployed, it uses the video to provide real-time information to the command center to help assess the situation.

“We called 911 and we delivered the drone to the scene. Today is different – where Purp is not with the victim,” Kempell said.

Therefore, communication is important if there is an event.

And people in the community will welcome the extra technology.

“If we are safe, go!” Said David.
