“We’re thrilled to support such a creative and fun way to help kids discover their own problem-solving abilities,” said Les Lifter, Chief Marketing Officer, Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. “This sponsorship provides a win-win opportunity for our community and creates a wonderful environment to help more children and their families enjoy science.”

Prior to Stanford Medicine’s Children’s Health sponsorship, it enabled one of The Interactive’s most popular attractions, “Climb the Cascade.” An engineering design activity encourages families to build equipment that delivers the ball at different heights. Visitors will make hard hats, choose interesting materials and explore mechanical engineering concepts by adjusting their designs over and over again. It’s not unusual to see inventors of all ages spending hours perfecting their tools.

“We are grateful for this support during this time of the pandemic, when many families are looking for fun ways to enrich their children’s education,” he said. Katrina StevensPresident and CEO of Tech and Learning Science Expert. “Bringing STEM activities that anyone can do at home into waiting rooms and libraries will also go a long way in helping families fall in love with learning.”

The activity guide is available in English and Spanish starting this month.
