Watch Squid Game, BTS and G-Dragon at New V&A Exhibition – WWD

South Korean pop culture has taken the world by storm in recent years. The girls’ group BlackPink and the male band BTS have won high-profile sponsorship deals, with films such as “Parasite” and “Kingdom” and “Squid Game” capturing the attention of blockbuster Hollywood Productions.

The exhibition, held from September 24 to June 25, 2023 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, will feature K-pop costumes, K-drama proposals and posters from photography, sculpture, fashion, video and pop-culture. Until you find it.

Since collecting Korean art and design in 1888, V&A now holds the largest collection of contemporary Korean art and design outside of South Korea. In 1992, London’s first permanent gallery opened for Korean arts.
