This recall affects dual voltage Steamfast brand home and travel steam irons with model numbers SF-717, SF-720 and SF-727 and date codes between January 2008 and March 2017, and the Brookstone Steam Travel Steam Iron model number 606335. Model numbers and production date codes are printed on the metal back. Steamfast or Brookstone are printed on white metals.

The recalled Steamfast and Brookstone irons can be identified by the length of the cable bushing. The recalled irons have a gray or black cord that extends less than an inch from the receptacle on the electrical cord.
