Virtuoso, the leading global network focused on luxury and experiential travel, announced at the historic Travel Tech Summit in 2018. Virtuoso is hosting a Travel Week event on August 14th at ARIA Resort & Casino from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The conference will consist of three distinct components: a keynote session where multiple speakers will explore the technology strategies that are driving the industry forward; A VC Panel focused on innovations and long-term opportunities that investors want; and a showcase of startups that are tackling the challenges the travel industry is currently facing. Led by tech entrepreneur and investor Gilad Bernstein, a Virtuoso board member, along with Virtuoso Senior Vice President, Digital and Consumer Products Travis McElfresh, along with keynote speakers, Virtuoso is putting technology at center stage to support long-term trust. The network provides better service when it has a choice in technology solutions.

Upchurch. “Our Incubator program has launched some of the travel technology players that are central to our business today. This Travel Tech Summit is our next step in fostering innovation and ensuring that travel technology benefits our agencies, consultants and partners who work with us. The summit starts with a broad, macro view and eventually progresses through steps that narrow down to the fundamental level. Berenstein begins the sessions with a broad overview of five key themes: optimizing everything; Travel finance and how it leads to better consumer experiences; the role of creators and influencers; Cumulative and super apps; And new technologies are focused on Metaverse and Web3. This opening presentation will feature four Big Ideas speakers who will dive deep into each category. Next, a panel of venture capitalists weigh in on their views as investors. Finally, the startup showcase will feature five new companies developing solutions to alleviate travel industry pain points and demonstrate real-world applications.
“After attending many industry events, both open and closed, I don’t think there is a home for creatives focused on luxury travel and the consultant/agency model,” Bernstein said. “The purpose of this conference is to bring these visions to life with the top minds in the industry, from the biggest innovators to those funders, entrepreneurs and startups.”
