As part of the “Digital Work Experience State” report, both employees are affected by technology in their work – and it could be the difference between staying as a member of an organization or looking elsewhere.

Evanti surveyed 10,000 office workers, IT professionals and C-suites to see what trends are emerging in the digital workforce experience, and the statistics not covered by the company are staggering.

Will the lack of suitable technology leave workers in the lurch?

According to the study, almost half (49%) of those surveyed said they were frustrated with the technology provided by their organization and 26% were dissatisfied with the technology. To alleviate this dissatisfaction, alarming statistics have emerged: 42% of employees have invested their money more effectively in enterprise technology.

Simply put, the technology provided to employees is not as high as it should be. Some are looking for other jobs, saying that the lack of the right tools to work effectively has a negative impact on productivity and morale. On the executive side, there is a division between employees and the C-suite in relation to company goals. As part of the survey, 62% of IT decision-makers say they prioritize revenue over employee experience, and 21% say leaders prioritize end-user experience when choosing tools.
