College Park, MD. No. 4 Maryland hits the road this weekend against Big Ten opponents Iowa and Northwestern for two top-5 matchups. The Terps will face No. 3 Iowa on Friday, Sept. 30 at 5:00 p.m., and take on defending national champion No. 2 Northwestern on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 1:00 p.m. Both games will be available to stream on B1G+.

- Friday’s matchup against No. 3 Iowa will be the 25th meeting between the Terps and Hawkeyes. Maryland currently holds a 17-6-1 series advantage and a 5-3 record in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes have won the last three meetings between the two teams since the spring of 2020.

- The nine-time Coach of the Year has amassed 19 Final Fours, 12 NCAA Tournament appearances and seven NCAA Championships during her tenure.
- Last season, Maharg became the head coach of the third division, which won 600 games. Her 605 wins are the most by any Maryland coach in all sports.
- Maharg has coached 56 All-Americans, 19 Conference Players of the Year and 6 of her former student-athletes’ National Players of the Year.
