The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have reason to celebrate after several offensive linemen signed NFL deals with the Hooters. It is at this point that we must point out that this is true. Lyn Higgins of the Wall Street Journal Hooters also reported signing 48 offensive linemen to NIL deals. A quick look at the company’s college athlete sponsorships page shows seven Georgia Tech football players, including offensive lineman Pierce Quick, who seem excited about the deal.

“Hooters signed 48 offensive linemen to NIL exclusive deals. Georgia Tech OL Pierce Quick said, “I think I’d say to all the linebackers that we’re excited to partner with our favorite restaurant right now and throw down some wings.

Wing Green is also one of the Georgia Tech players with NIL deals with the Hooters. It’s almost as if such a partnership with a company like Hooters is meant to be.

Hopefully for Georgia Tech football, these Neal deals will motivate the offensive line to do a better job on the field. Last season, the Yellow Jackets allowed 33.0 sacks in 12 games — tied for sixth-most in the ACC. They were just 108th nationally with an 8.65 offensive sack percentage. Pierce can certainly help in that area after transferring from the Alabama Crimson Tide to Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jackets will be in for a very early challenge of the upcoming season as they begin with a matchup against the Clemson Tigers on September 5th.
