Love opens first tour stop in Connecticut.

The service station and truck care center operator has inaugurated a new facility in its 590-plus network that will add 56 truck parking spaces and 50 jobs.


Love Travel Stops has expanded the reach of its services by opening a new location in Wellington, Connecticut, the company’s first in the state. The site will add 56 truck parking spaces and 50 jobs to Tolland County, providing fuel, convenience and truck care services to local customers.

“Opening our first location in Connecticut, Love’s continues to add new locations to customers across the U.S. Love’s continues to add accessible, quality products and services to customers across the US. CEO Greg Love said.

The facility is open 24/7 and offers amenities typical of the brand such as seven diesel bays, three showers, a CAT scale, a mobile to go zone with state-of-the-art GPS and a dog park. The 8,000-square-foot installation features a combination of Godfather’s Pizza and Subway restaurants and other food offerings such as bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, branded snacks and a new kitchen concept.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 to Wellington Public Schools.
