KFC has partnered with Hype to launch a 47-piece fashion collection.

KFC is synonymous with great fried chicken, but it’s making moves in the fashion world.

Yes, you heard that right, KFC is doing it style.

The fast food chain has teamed up with lifestyle brand Hype for a 47-piece collection – including hoodies, running jackets and backpacks.

The curated apparel and accessories lineup features fun designs inspired by both brands, blending KFC’s tongue-in-cheek interactive messaging with hype’s bold heritage statements.

The exclusive range boasts all the basics including bralettes, joggers, tees, puffer jackets, hats and bags.

Perfect for holiday wear, the designs are inspired by KFC’s history, menus and slogans.

Hype’s original dad hat shape features an embroidered ‘Bargain Bucket’ on the front and a statement loungewear collection featuring a bright white soft-touch fabric base contrasted with KFC Red.

Make a real statement with the Standout Vintage KFC Racing Jacket, a timeless oversized piece printed with the chain’s classic branding – with button fastening details and fitted hem and cuffs.

For those looking to accessorise, the new KFC Bucket Bag and KFC Drinks Bag are the perfect finishing touches to any outfit – and are carefully designed to hold chicken and KFC drinks respectively.

HYPE was founded in 2011 and its mission was lifestyle supremacy. The words ‘Find Yours’ were engraved on the easel, and a simple script inspired him to change it to the family name on a flower-printed ticket.

Now, it’s an instantly recognizable global brand.

Meanwhile, in 1952, Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC restaurant in Utah. Since then, the business has grown in popularity worldwide, with more than 900 restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

The popularity of both brands makes this a match made in food and fashion heaven.

The collection will launch at Hype’s Carnaby London store, justHYPE.com and selected retailers worldwide from August 4, 2022.

This new collection follows in the footsteps of the famous Greggs x Primark collaboration – the second drop was announced last week.
