Gigi Hadid is launching her own fashion line. On Thursday, August 4, the model-turned-entrepreneur took to Instagram to reveal her latest project: a welcoming, knitwear-focused brand. Hadid’s Instagram bio describes her as the founder and creative director.
“Worked on something…. with love, @guestinresidence 💛🧵 :),” she wrote alongside a behind-the-scenes slideshow. Hadid appears on set for a photo shoot, evaluating different color palettes, fabric designs and patterns, and trying on different samples herself.
“It’s what we’ve all been waiting for. 💕💕💕💕💕💕,” her younger sister Bella commented on Instagram. “So excited 😍,” said Hayley Bieber, while Tan France wrote, “I can’t wait for everyone to see this line. 🥰❤️”
Although the 27-year-old remains in the modeling game, she’s no stranger to fashion design either. Most recently, she collaborated with Frances Bikinis on a cottagecore-inspired swimwear collection, and in the past has collaborated with Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok and Stuart Weitman to create her own line of clothing and footwear.
