May is National Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, beginning with National Travel Advisor Day on Wednesday, May 3.
To celebrate the important work of travel advisors across the country, several leading suppliers are releasing special programs and incentives to reward hardworking advisors, while also educating travelers about the many benefits of working with a trusted travel professional in 2023 and beyond.
Here are some popular ways companies can celebrate National Travel Advisor Day and Travel Advisor Appreciation Month this May.
Shoe resorts
Sandals Resorts International and the American Association of Travel Advisors (ASTA) are partnering to celebrate the critical role of travel advisors through special programs and incentives.
The pair will host a Facebook Live broadcast on Wednesday, May 3 from 2-4pm in Ethiopia, featuring a one-on-one session with ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby and Exclusive Vacations Inc. VP of Sales and Industry Relations Gary Sadler. Partnership of International Agents for Sandal Resorts and Beach Resorts. During the event, lucky Travel Consultants will have a chance to win a trip to Sandalwood River, opening on May 24, 2023.
Even if you don’t win, Travel Advisors can take advantage of special incentives this month because a new six-night stay or more at Sandals Resorts is being offered directly by Unique Vacations, Inc. Celebrity 2X Europe $60K Gift Entries and Double Rewards Points means Consultants can earn twice the Celebrity $60,000 cash gift for every 2023 Celebrity Europe booking through May 13, 2023 and double Rewards Points for bookings made between May 2-13, 2023. . Avanti Destinations
Avanti Destinations is celebrating Travel Advisors all month by giving away a $25 gift card ($5,000 or more) created by Avanti for every new destination between May 1 and May 31, 2023. Earn but deposit must be received by the end of May for travel by December 31, 2023.
Avanti has partnered with Portugal Visitor to launch an educational campaign that includes a 50-page e-brochure “Paradise in Portugal” to help travel consultants create tailor-made vacations to the country. The campaign includes a $2,500 gift card for every Portugal Travel Consultants sale made through May 31, 2023 for a booking made by December 31, 2023.

Leading adventure booking platform TourRadar is launching a new incentive program to celebrate Trip Advisor Thanksgiving Month in May, giving away organized adventures to Peru, Italy and any destination featured in Europamundo to three lucky winners.
To enter to win, travel advisors simply need to register at TourRadar.com/agent, be a current agent that entered in May, register and attend one of the webinars hosted by TourRadar in May, register two other agents on the TourRadar agent portal or TourRadar on the TourRadar agent Facebook page and TourRadar Follow on Instagram @TourRadar. To participate in the program, consultants must register with TourRadar and make a reservation between May 1 and May 31, 2023.

Advisers can enter to win an amazing trip (including airfare) on the Virgin Aussie Mermaid sailing from Melbourne on Resilient Lady later this year.
