THE WOODLANDS, TX – High fashion returns to our community next month with The Walk The Woodlands, an evening black tights fashion affair benefiting The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic. The latest trends from Saks Fifth Avenue will headline the New York Style Park Fashion Show, featuring six of our local community champions, guaranteed to impress in a one-of-a-kind grand finale.
St. Luke’s Health serves as the event sponsor and Sewell Automotive Companies is the exclusive automotive partner. Both are deeply rooted interfaith supporters in the southern Montgomery County region. “We are humbled by the continued support of St. Luke’s and Sewell,” said Missy Herndon, president and CEO of both The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic. We look forward to celebrating this exciting new event with them as we continue to raise critical funds to meet the health care and basic needs of our neighbors in Montgomery County.
Chosen by a selection committee, Brian Albert, Noemi Gonzalez, Dean Guidry, Justin Hogan, MD, Diane Kink and Ray Sanders will be the inaugural Community Champions. The winners will grace the fashion show with a production creatively directed by Lenny Matszewski, Jr., a renowned Houston show producer and native of The Woodlands. The fashion show will be followed by an electric after-party by the band Time Machine. The first annual event will be held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 6 p.m. Chaired by Erin Dore and Heather Sanford, all proceeds from the event fund programs at Interfaith of The Woodlands and the Interfaith Community Clinic.
