“E-commerce is old school and sales were difficult. Gaming has been around forever, and social gaming has grown during Covid. There are three billion players and many more avatars out there. People invest a lot of time in dressing their avatars,” said Rinat Homosani Perry, CEO and co-founder of StyleClules, explaining why her company decided to get into the game. “Especially in the social gaming world, you want your avatar to look amazing. More than just a version of who you are, it’s a representation of who you want to be.”

In the year Founded in 2018, StyleClueless is an AI-powered clothing recommendation platform that aims to decentralize shopping browsing. We guide the players as there are many creators and there are old brands like Nike & Gucci so there are many clothing items. With over 50 million options per game, you can easily get lost. It’s confusing and gamers (especially Gen Z) are impatient. So StyleClueless basically says, ‘We inspire and guide you,'” explains Homosani Perry.

Homosani Perry started her career as a fashion designer and stylist. Then she went to Singapore for six years and was introduced to AI & ML. “We were joined by an amazing data scientist in Singapore and together we created a rule base algorithm that knew how to take an item and match it with other options. That way we could create different looks like different colors and patterns. Then we did a POC with a company in Singapore. We gave away iPads and Every time someone walks into the store and selects an item of clothing, we offer an additional combination of buy two, get one free. We A/B tested it and saw that everyone else in the store took advantage of the offer with our product, and the promotion was less successful in other stores. Covid has hit and we have to ride.

Ctech’s She-inspires series follows the stories of Israeli women leaders. The interviewees are from different sectors: some work at senior levels in large organizations, some are founders, and some are key players in industries that aim to change the world for the better. The goal is to anticipate the explosion that will lead to the glass ceiling to find out where they came from, where they are going, and how they are bringing inspiration to an entire sector.

“We have a lot of companies that want to work with us, from names like Paris Hilton and Roblox. We can offer a more personalized shopping experience that includes taking 2,000 items and keeping them. We can give players when a new item is launched,” said Homosani Perry.

When asked about its future, Homosani Perry spoke excitedly about Web3. “Who decides the trends? Until now, legacy brands have been the fashion council. But with StyleClueless, we can show players the connections between items, we can show them the trends. We’re breaking down fashion – there are no councils telling you what the new trends are.”

When asked what advice she has for her fellow founders, Homosani Perry didn’t mince words and was quick to say, “When we held our POC, we got a call from a large client who wanted our solution. At the time we had the capacity to match 100 items and they asked for 10k items so I said no. I had to say yes, either way it was going to take time to close the deal. My tip is always say yes and figure out the rest later with the right people. I would be somewhere else today. The world waits for no one,” he said.
