Collina Strada and Heartdub Drop Digital Fashion

Pioneers in sustainability, Colina Strada and Harddub have come together to create digital fashion apparel for Unity.

For Colina Strada’s iconic Spring/Summer 2023 collection, GOT MILKWEED?, the New York-based brand has recreated five looks from the show in 2D. Originally presented as part of the brand’s physical line, the clothes take inspiration from the ethereal butterfly, which has been preserved and transformed into a monarch butterfly at the show’s location, Brooklyn’s Greenway, a cemetery. The virtual production brand is the result of a partnership with Heartdub, a national AI company. He founded a future-leading hyper-realistic digital materials center dedicated to reimagining fashion with “digital fabrics and high-precision physical engines.”

Fancy abstract prints adorn statement-making asymmetric dresses with high-neck jumpsuits with exaggerated cuffs. Elsewhere, open sweetheart necklines tone down colorful tartan evening dresses. Sheer tulle wears a bright yellow color. The star of the show wore a multi-spaghetti-tied organza gown covered in a rose-hued floral pattern.
