The Future Leaders in Travel Retreat, powered by TravelAge West, has announced that it is accepting applications for its 2023 Future Leaders Travel Mentorship.

The event will be held in Jamaica at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Ballroom from August 27-30, 2023.

Future Leaders is an event designed for the next generation in the travel industry, designed to connect travel buyers and sellers between the ages of 22 and 37.

Director of Business Recruitment and Engagement, Travel Weekly and Travel Edge West Events: “Every year we receive hundreds of applications from consultants who are committed to taking our industry to the next level. “It’s amazing to see what they’ve done in the past and where they want to take their business in the future.”

I covered this event for TravelPulse last year and saw firsthand how impactful this event was for the consultants who attended.

More details of the event:

During the four-day event, mentors and presenters have the opportunity to build real relationships through collaborative content sessions, small group meetings, outdoor activities and social events filled with local flair. Education focuses on professional development and provides insights into how this generation will impact the future of our industry. Attendees will leave future leaders with new ideas for both life’s business and professional relationships.

Candidates for future leaders demonstrate ambition, drive and passion for the industry. They are passionate about influencing the future of travel and are motivated by discovering entirely new and better ways to travel.

To be considered for the programme, consultants must provide details of annual registrations and industry experience in addition to providing one industry reference with contact details. Accepted participants will receive full accommodation and access to all event programs, including meetings with presenters and participants. Learn more about the event and fill out an application by visiting www.futureleadersintravel.com.

A limited number of 2022 participants have been selected to return as guides for the 2023 event. These mentors were selected based on their success and enthusiasm for the event’s cause. During the event, guides will help first-time attendees explore this opportunity, ensuring attendees get the most out of the conference. They contribute to the educational content by organizing or leading workshops and panels and facilitating discussions.
