Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”) is the global authority on the real five[1]Star Service has appointed Amanda Frazier as president of ratings. In this newly elevated leadership role, Frazier will oversee the company’s global expansion of luxury hotels, restaurants and spas over the next year.
FTG is the only independent, global star rating system for luxury accommodation. The prestigious five-star, four-star and recommended awards are announced each year based on anonymous reviews and ratings in more than 74 countries, making the company a trusted resource for discerning travelers and travel advisors. The star rating system is highly valued with a focus on exceptional service.
A 17-year veteran of FTG, Frazier is responsible for leading the continued development of FTG’s standards—including continued growth in the areas of health, sustainability and responsible tourism. She founded and chairs the FTG Standards Advisory Committee, a highly respected group of global hospitality and luxury industry leaders, to share their unique perspectives on contemporary guest expectations and best practices, contributing to FTG’s well-earned reputation for forward-thinking, modern luxury.
Frasier will also lead FTG’s annual Luxury Summit, a premier, invitation-only gathering of hospitality icons, executives, innovators and presenters for two packed days of education, networking, entertainment and international superstar award winners. The 2023 Luxury Summit will be held at Resorts World Las Vegas March 1-2, 2023. In her new role, Frazier will lead the development of the regional salon series to further extend the FTG network and industry building events.
Frasier is based in Atlanta, where FTG has its global headquarters, and will report to CEO Herman Elger.
