Nothing says Top Hunter like using it as a pitcher. On Monday, Kylie Jenner stole the show on the Schiaparelli Couture runway in Paris when she arrived in a black velvet halter gown embellished with a life-size lion head – ahead of the spring-summer 2023 couture collection.

The head turning parts are built entirely by hand from foam resin and other synthetic materials. However, while Schiaparelli described the pieces as “faux-taxidermy”, the parallels to trophy hunting have left some social media users struggling to appreciate the collection.
But for Rosebery, if the clothes are creating fear, they’re doing their job. “Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso: one cannot exist without the other,” he concluded in the show notes. “If there is no hell, it is a reminder that there is no such thing as heaven, without sorrow there is no joy, without doubt there is no joy of creation.”
