If you haven’t seen Harry Styles’ new music video for “Late Night Talking,” do so as soon as possible. Marking the second outing for the singer’s famous polka dot Gucci PJs (which first debuted on CBeebies’ Bedtime Story), the pic follows Styles as he spends the day in reserved beds. Alice in Wonderland-esque, rabbit hole made of white sheets. Along the way, he ends up in a bed the size of a room that holds dozens of people, Tracy Emin’s 1999 book.
In one shot, Styles’ bedmate and co-star appears to be wearing the same T-shirt that appears briefly in the video. In the first scene, a man roughly falls on the speaker after an early morning jog. Only this time, it’s by THEA – a model and recent graduate from the London College of Communication. If you’ve been following the talent that recently graduated from the famous Art College Saint Martins, you have a chance to recognize the model from runway fashion collections for young emerging designers Cecile Boussellat, Lisa Keane (favorite of musician FKA twigs). And Joyce Bao, the musician who wore Japanese breakfast to her performance at Coachella 2022. Talk about keeping good company, eh?
According to Thea’s social media, she is originally from Rome, although given her recent degree from UAL and associates in the capital, she seems to be based in London at the moment.
Elsewhere, the video for “Late Night Talking” features several sizes of Gucci — Styles’ cream blazer and tweed coat are both from the Italian label’s Spring 2022 collection. His latest collaboration with the label comes after the artist announced that he will be at the helm of a 25-piece collection called HA HA HA, created with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele and featuring plenty of couture aesthetic and kitschy prints.
