UI Health Care websites get a new look, and some cool new features

[ad_1]

If you’ve visited uihc.org or uichildrens.org recently, you may notice a new look and feel. We’ve updated our websites to offer a better user experience, and there’s more to the redesign than meets the eye.

Not only will you see an improved look and feel to the layout of the sites, this new design also has some behind the scenes features that help make the web user’s experience more positive.

New and improved capabilities

  • Improved wayfinding helps users better identify the locations of our hospitals and clinics. You’ll now be able to search by unit or clinic name, an address, or a room number.
  • Site navigation is more intuitive, and the search function searches across both the uihc.org and uichildrens.org domains, meaning no more jumping between the two sites to find what you need.
  • Built-in translation options make the site more accessible to those whose native language is not English. Just select “Translate” in the upper right-hand corner and select your desired language.
  • Direct integration with our clinical trials website to allow principal investigators to have their clinical trials appear on their clinical content pages.
  • Improved data and analytics to help us better understand the needs of our patients and site visitors.
  • Better integration of our shared services between the pediatric and adult health systems. This new approach allows you to seamlessly transition between sites and services.
