At just 19 years old, when Nigerian-American Artsy Kay started making TikToks in 2020, the idea of this kind of fame and recognition probably didn’t cross his mind like many celebrities and influencers did during the pandemic. Still, it happened, and three years after it went viral, the now 22-year-old continues to create amazing fashion content. He has amassed nearly 9 million followers on Tik Tok and has partnered with top fashion brands such as Coach, Fendi and Valentino, and has appeared on the front row of many Fashion Week shoes.

Kaye’s direction seems to be venturing further into the styling aisle as he has an incredible eye for juxtaposing high and low items. The Texas native grew up in a town where fashion wasn’t a central conversation, and even wearing things she normally wore was seen as “weird” or “shocking,” but the pandemic gave us all something to talk about and the question, “Do I care what anyone else thinks?” Lucky for us, Kay’s answer is absolutely no. He is seen in his favorite Rick Owens Kissing Boots, insanely high heels, a skirt and a cropped coat, an outfit that is gender-neutral but society-contradictory. Still, Kai’s sassy and IDGAF attitude has put him on the map as one of Tik Tok’s best-dressed men.
Kaye must have a Virgo in his chart because he stays up all night and tries things on and catalogs the clothes, which is such a tedious and meticulous job but Kaye does it with enthusiasm because fashion is what he truly loves. I guess the Tik Tok star is not limited to Tik Tok, he is making a real name for himself in the industry, and I’m excited to see what the pivot looks like, but until then, I’m enjoying every single song. In the video, he impersonates cartoon characters and puts the most expensive and the cheapest clothes together.
