After a hiatus of three years, Sandals Resorts once again hosted its annual golf tournament for top UStravel agents.
Sandel’s 18th Annual US Trip Advisor Golf Tournament kicked off Saturday night with an outdoor dinner in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Over 150 agents and guests attended the al fresco dinner. Speakers include Edmond Bartlett, Minister of Tourism of Jamaica, and Gary C. Sadler, Marketing Representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Exclusive Vacation Industries Executive Vice President-International Sales and Industry Relations.
On Sunday, Trip Advisors visited Sandals Ochi Beach, Beaches Ocho Rios and Sandals Royal Plantation Resort before returning to Ochi Beach for the Global Gourmet Dinner.
The golfers teed off Monday morning at Sandel Golf and Country Club through an 18-hole tee, getting help from caddies who didn’t carry the bag — golf carts rode in — but gave tips on where to aim and how to improve your strokes, as well as watch for errant golf balls.
The tournament continues on Tuesday with another 18-hole tournament, followed by an awards dinner at the Ochi Beach Club. TravelPulse and AgentatHOME Magazine are the media sponsors of the event.
