Tech starts the year with a bang at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. CES is filled with the latest gadgets, cars, TVs, computers, and other futuristic devices that may or may not be available in real life.

Either way, CES gives us a fun and fascinating look at what the most imaginative minds in the tech world are thinking. Find out what the most exciting technology will be introduced at CES 2023 to get a glimpse of our future.

BMW i Vision D – color changing car

In the future, you may not have to struggle over the decision of what color car you want. You may be able to easily change the color of your car instead. At CES, BMW introduced the iVison Dee, a concept car that uses E Ink skin. According to BMW, the D stands for “Digital emotional experience – and that’s exactly what it aims to do: to create a stronger bond between people and their cars.

E Ink, the technology used by ereaders like the Kindle, is included in the iVision Dee skin. With this modern technology, drivers can choose from 32 shades to change the color of their car. No need to choose one color, the iVison Dee features a range of colors in the car’s 240 E Ink unit to match your outfit, blend in with the surroundings or stand out from the crowd.

Changing colors isn’t the only cool feature of iVision Dee. It also has a head-up display (HUD) that covers the width of the windshield. Drivers can choose how much information they want displayed on the HUD, as well as whether the format is digital or analog. The car’s side windows can dim, display virtual reality and display a driver avatar.

BMW plans to include some of the technologies in its NEUE KLASSE car line starting in 2025.
