Apparently Witso, aka smoking salmon, is worth a staggering $4 billion, according to Forbes.
In 2013, his father, the elder Gustav, gave him half of his company to Salmar, one of the world’s largest salmon producers.
Witso previously told Norwegian newspaper Dagladet that he now believes his parents “should have taken more time to think” before handing over a large inheritance to the 19-year-old. At first it was very strange. It makes you worry less about what people think.
He seems to be getting used to it.
Salmon Saxion has invested in European startups such as Snapchat competitor Gobi and KeyBulter, which helps Airbnb hosts with maintenance. He also has a charity called The W Initiative, which supports children’s health and education.
He’s with Oslo-based modeling agency Idol Lux, but we’re told he won’t be walking in any shows this season.
But he’ll be around town this week to various events, including Tom Ford, where we’ll be looking for him in the front row.
