If you’ve been watching Fast 2023 online this past week, you may have seen danejerus’ Any% Run of Fashion Police Squad, easily the most amazing and best run of the show. It had everything you could want from a run at AGDQ: great commentary with a sweet sense of humor, amazing gameplay both in and out of bounds, an aspect of being part of the dev team, and a boss that you have to see for yourself one special moment after the other. And of course, there’s the game at the center of it all, Fashion Police Squad is a delightfully quirky and fast-paced indie title that’s perfectly suited for a speed run. It was the kind of rush that could get most people to run out and buy the game, but what if you don’t have the best gaming PC? Well, thanks, it’s been revealed that the Fashion Police team is coming to the console soon, as seen via the trailer below.
First released in August of last year, Fashion Police is an FPS (get it?) set in the city of Trendopolis, where a team is tasked with solving fashion-related crimes. Socks with shoes, drab pants, baggy pants… All crimes can be solved with the help of a variety of fashion-specific weapons, from sewing guns to shoe repair gnome grenades and a grappling hook that whips clothes into place and doubles as a belt. Whether you’re running fast or going at your own pace, Fashion Police Squad should still be just as fun on consoles, so check it out when it arrives on February 2nd for Switch, Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
