European Fashion Month kicks off at London Fashion Week. For this Autumn/Winter 2023 season, all eyes were on England as the stars arrived in the British capital to attend a memorial to honor the late Vivienne Westwood. Later in the week, Daniel Lee presented his first collection for Burberry, Moncler Genius, a star-studded and show-stopping experience celebrating both the brand and its collaborators.
Amidst all the shows and events, attendees showed off their best streetwear looks, paired of course with the most sought-after footwear of the past months. Showgoers are shown to choose shoes that are very comfortable, and suitable for walking and traveling between shows. It was the symbol that Solomon chose. One attendee wore the beloved Kar L’Art de L’Automobile and Salomon ACS Pro Advanced collaboration, while others opted for more familiar silhouettes such as the Salomon XT-4 and XT-6 models. Speaking of comfort, ASICS shoes always make an appearance. The newly released Andersson Bell and Asics GEL-Sonoma 15-50 was a technical sneaker to look for like the ASICS Angelo Baque x Gel Kayano 14.
Various iterations of the Margiela Tabby shoe were a hit with attendees, making it one of the go-to accessories for the outfit. Nike continues to be a dominant sneaker brand with the Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara taking center stage alongside the CDG x Nike Air Foamposite and the Martin Rose x Nike Shox Mule MR4. London Fashion Week’s shoe picks showcased some of the industry’s rarest finds to kick off the first European Fashion Month fashion week.
