Aero Construction of Tennessee has established a business that develops stylish and versatile trailers for mobile businesses such as coffee shops and juice bars. With the new Coaster, it brings that kind of flexible, modern style (and then some) to the travel trailer market. Built to thrive where other camping trailers fail – and excel when they do – the Coast is a fully electric two-axle tagalong. An interior that could be pictured on the cover of a design magazine ensures travelers will enjoy the creature comforts of a modern contemporary home, no matter where their adventures take them.

Aerobuild aims to provide America’s most advanced all-electric luxury RV. At the heart of that effort is a powerful electrical system capable of running all on-board systems and equipment without the need for LPG or shore power. That starts at the top of the trailer, equipped with monocrystalline solar panels that charge a 1,360-W roof-mounted 810-Ah lithium-ion battery bank.

All that solar and battery power not only provides basic camping amenities, but also on-board luxuries like a smart indoor Firefly touch control system, mobile Wi-Fi and dual 32-inch Smart TVs. Two 3,000-W inverters keep the AC equipment running smoothly, and the trailer also includes a 50-A hookup for connecting to shore power. Starlink Internet is available for true off-grid connectivity.

Aero Build does a great job of updating the rather basic rounded-cornered rectangular travel trailer look by giving the fiberglass coaster a glossy black and white exterior design. That understated style continues inside, with white walls and furniture and black tables dominating, accented by light and dark earth tones and ambient lighting.

A 21-foot-long (6.4 m) berth sleeps up to four people with a convertible forward dinette double bed and aft 49 x 81 in (125 x 206 cm) master bed with gel memory foam mattress. The spacious, open kitchen occupies about half of the driver’s side in front of the front door, with an all-electric Smeg appliance arrangement including a two-burner ceramic cooktop, stainless steel microwave and large 278-L fridge/freezer. Aero Build adds a pop-up bar/wine holder to optimize table space.

The interior dry bathroom is well dressed as is the kitchen. The sink is separate from the sink, providing seamless access even if the toilet or shower is occupied. The main expandable bathroom includes separate toilet and shower areas.

The Laveo Dry Flush waterless electric toilet eliminates the need to deal with black water – one of the biggest disadvantages of RVing – by packing and compacting waste into an odor-free container that can be found in the trash can. Dry Flush claims that each easily replaceable cartridge can handle 15 to 25 uses.

The shower has the Moen Nebia Spa Shower Spray designed to deliver full-body rain coverage while using half the water of other showers. The 26.5 liter water heater heats the flow from the 151 liter pure water tank.

The beach entrance and bedroom are separated by a long laundry room that houses the bedroom and living room flat screen TVs. A widening bathroom door and bedroom curtain provide additional separation and privacy.

Built-in heat and A/C and insulation made from New Zealand sheep's wool ensure the beach is a comfortable home in all weathers.

Other on-board beach amenities include an electric outboard with LED lighting, a 13,500-BTU roof air conditioner, dual 500-W toe heaters, a remote battery and water tank control system, and durable, high-performance Havelock wool insulation. The trailer rides on a Lippert forged steel chassis and torsion axle suspension and weighs just under 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg).

The all-new Coaster starts at US$124,900 and is available for pre-order now. Aero Build plans to begin shipping in Spring 2023 (Northern Hemisphere). You can take a quick tour of the interior in the video below.
