South Dakota State Jackrabbits and Utah Tech Trailers have agreed to move their extended football game to the 2024 season, FBSchedules.com has learned.

The state of South Dakota was originally scheduled to host Uta Tech on Saturday, November 14, 2020, but the game was canceled due to the new Corona virus 2019 (CV-19).

Jacquard will now host the Trailblazers at Brookings, SD, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, according to a copy of the contract amendment obtained by South Dakota State University at the request of the State Public Records.

The first contract required South Dakota State Uta Tech to pay $ 200,000 for the game. Under the amendment, Jacquards will now pay $ 215,000 to victims.

South Dakota now has two non-conference games scheduled for the 2024 season. Jackrabbits are scheduled to open season on the road at Oklahoma State Cowboys on May 31, which is reported.

Although not yet complete, the Utah Tech 2024 football program now has seven non-congressional opponents. The Trailblazers have joined the Western Athletics Conference (WAC) in 2022, so some pre-planned non-conference competitions will not take place.
