Texas Tech football is coming off a big announcement that it plans to make a $200 million upgrade to Jones AT&T Stadium, the largest investment to date in the Red Raider football program. Then on Monday, the Red Raiders made headlines again when a local group known as the Matador Club told the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal that they were considering signing 100 Texas Tech football players to one-year, $25,000 contracts.
On Tuesday, TCU recruiting coordinator and offensive analyst Brian Carrington took to Twitter to offer some reaction to the events in Lubbock, Texas, about 300 miles west of Fort Worth.
