Murray brings more than 20 years of leadership experience with his MBA to Tech Entry.
Today, the Tuck School of Business named Lawrence Murray its new executive director of admissions and financial aid.
As the leader of Tuck’s admissions and financial aid teams, Murray will be responsible for identifying, recruiting and enrolling exceptional candidates who will thrive in Tuck’s unique immersive learning community and address the world with the smartest and most determined leaders. Selected following an exhaustive search, Murray brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as senior assistant dean of graduate business programs at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, overseeing enrollment management, financial aid, academic advising and student engagement services for a portfolio of graduate business programs. Prior to working at Fordham, Murray spent more than 10 years at North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business, focusing on end-to-end operations including admissions and recruitment, student engagement, academic services, international partnerships and initiatives, and career and professional development. . Murray has held leadership roles at Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and the University of Arizona.

In addition to his work in business schools and higher education, Murray brings to TAC deep industry expertise gained through his service to the broader business education community. He is currently Chair of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Business School Advisory Board and a member of the BusinessCAS Advisory Board, as well as a member of the GMC Specialized Masters Programs Advisory Council.

Murray earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and political science and degrees in business and public administration from the University of Arizona. He will begin his appointment at Tuck on August 29.
