Sipwell Brands has been appointed as the exclusive global travel retail distribution partner for the award-winning Gin Le Lin & Lim, based in Edinburgh’s historic dining district of Leith.
The deal is effective immediately, and the goal is for Lin & Lim to be available at all key destination airports, including Heathrow, Schiphol, Singapore, Istanbul, LAX and JFK.
For Sipwell, the international premium drinks specialist, this addition represents the first gin in a portfolio that includes a range of spirit brands from ultra-premium rum Dictador, Mexican tequila Casa Dragones and premium Caribbean rum, Black Tot – to whiskey The Glenturret, Finn Thomson’s private single cask collection; Port Askaig, Fairy and Japanese Single Malt Karuizawa from Elixir Distillers.
Taking its name and inspiration from Dr. James Lind, an Edinburgh-educated Royal Navy surgeon credited with developing the theory that citrus fruits such as limes could prevent shingles.
Lind & Lime London Dry Gin is presented in a stunning bottle with a piney core and a crisp, refreshing citrus character.
Company co-founders Ian Stirling and Paddy Fletcher are behind the new £12 million purpose-built ‘vertical’ Port of Leith whiskey distillery, which is designed to produce a completely new single malt.

In the year The company was founded in 2018 by whiskey industry veteran Andrew Torrance & Calum Lawrie is a Scottish based sales, marketing and distribution drinks agency. Torrance has previously worked with both Beam Suntory and William Grant & Sons, as well as managing director of the whiskey shop and whiskey brand Copper Dog. Laurie held a number of roles at drinks giant Diageo and was the marketing director of Copper Dog alongside Torrance. SipWell Brands now represents major and luxury beverage brands throughout global travel retail.
