Paris, January 17, 2010 (FBC) French luxury house Saint Laurent kicked off Paris Fashion Week menswear on Tuesday night with a sharp evening look for men by designer Anthony Vaccarello.

The Kering-owned ( PRTP.PA ) label took to the Circular Bourse de Commerce – a historic wheat exchange renovated to house Pinault’s collection of modern art – in a dark trench coat with prominent shoulders and a white shirt with oversized bows, or a low cut, revealing skin.

Models strutted in stiletto heels, their ankles pulled up high, and coats tightly buttoned to the collar.

For the finale, the room went dark and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg took to the piano seat, playing music as the models completed the show in one round.

She continued to play as Vaccarello took the bow, prompting applause and cheers from the audience.

Paris Fashion Week menswear collections run until January 22 and feature shows from high-end labels including Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme, Givenchy, Hermes and Maison Margiela.
