Route 7 Pumping Station, Mains and Wastewater Treatment Facility Crossing Project
The Water Pollution Control Authority’s Wastewater Facility Improvement Project includes the construction of approximately 13,600 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter underground power mains from the Route 7 Pump Station to the South Street Wastewater Treatment Facility. The existing Route 7 pump station will be demolished and replaced with a new pump station on Route 7 at the same location. The work is expected to take place from April 2022 to August 2023.
Upcoming Construction Activity Week Ending 8/19/22 (Subject to Change)
Force the main installation and continue to mine the pavement on Limekiln Road. Limekiln Road between Lee Road and Linden Road will be closed during construction hours in accordance with Ridgefield Police Department (RPD) Traffic Management’s traffic diversion plan. Normal construction hours will be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Continue surveying position on Limekiln Road and Haviland Road.
Proposed Construction Schedule Week Ending 8/26/22 (Subject to Change)
Continue along Limekiln Road between Lee Road and Linden Road. Limekiln Road will be closed between Lee Road and Linden Road during construction hours as part of a detour plan by RPD Traffic Management. Normal construction hours will be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Enforce the main installation on Limekiln Road between Linden Road and Kindergarten Road. Limekill Road between Linden Road and Kindergarten Road will be detoured by RPD for traffic management during construction hours. Normal construction hours will be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Continue surveying position on Limekiln Road and Haviland Road.
