MILAN, Feb 23 (Reuters) – Flowers bloomed on dresses, shoes and from the ceiling at Italian designer Prada’s Milan Fashion Week show on Thursday.
Designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons turned wedding gowns into everyday looks, creating an Autumn/Winter 2023-24 cat statement with long and short white dresses embellished with white flowers and paired with sweaters.
Utility suits became long shirts with trains, while oversized boxy jackets were paired with slim ankle-length pants in predominantly dark shades.
Models wore shirts with off the shoulders, sweaters and jackets with colorful collars, and pastel colored cigarette pants with ribbed tops.
Colorful cat shoes cut flower patterns.
The collection also features white puffer and black asymmetric mini dresses, colorful printed dresses, wrap coats and a variety of duffel coats.
Last month, the Hong Kong-listed fashion group (1913.F) said it was transitioning into the next generation of the founding family, replacing Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada with a new chief executive.
