SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Peking Crafts returns to New York with a new permanent showroom and a new collection of big names in interior fabrics.
Featuring styles from industry giant Cravet, the first collection of fashion bedding aims at contemporary designs. There will be two collections – the high line and the corresponding luxury line, the latter is called the Cravet initiative. The Kravet collection features jacquards, while the Kravet inspired collection is printed on percale.
“This is a fabric line that I have loved and inspired for many years,” said Carol Anton, VP of Craft Innovation at Peking. “No one does it better than Kravet.”
After previewing it in virtual meetings, this week in the New York market will be the first time labels see the collections in person, she said.
Anton added: “Just being back in the showroom is really exciting. Although we are a San Francisco company, it seems like we are coming home again.
Beijing also showcases licensed collections from Jessica Simpson, Trina Turk and Vera Bradley, as well as the Makers Collection of artisans and designers with significant social media followings.
The company’s New York showroom is located at 15 East 32nd.St. (between Madison and Fifth Avenue) at 5Th Floor.
