Pace Center for Girls, Lee’s popular FUNky Fashion Show returns on May 9th from 6 to 9 pm at Moose Lodge #2199, 155 Santa Barbara Blvd. N., Cape Coral
Showcasing the creativity of Southwest Florida, it features one-of-a-kind fashions made entirely from recycled and recycled materials created by individual artists and businesses in Lee County. It also offers a Razzle Dazzle option “ready to wear” It looks like a Cape Coral based boutique. In addition, attendees will enjoy food, cocktails, music, a silent auction and prize drawings at the show.
The fundraising event supports Pace Lee girls and young women through education, mentoring, training and empowerment to give them a better future. Programs are based on the belief that all girls and young women, regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, should be uniquely cared for, supported, and empowered to become the best versions of themselves through healing and recovery. At Pace Lee, 100% of students improved their academic performance, 96% had no involvement with the juvenile justice system within a year of leaving the program, and 89% were in school or in good employment after leaving Pace Lee.
