It operates more than 50 acres of event space at Holland Acres, which includes a 3,800-square-foot barn and a one-room chapel.

Acres on Holland recently became the operator of over 50 acres of event space at the former The Holland Barn in Highfield.

It is owned by Scotty Hulett, a native of Rogers. She spent over a decade in the film and production industry before returning to Northwest Arkansas and founding her business.

“My roots are in Arkansas, though over the past 15 years, I’ve been immersed in the production world with WWE, in the Universal Orlando production department and traveling the United States and internationally as a locations manager with A+ celebrities and professional athletes,” Hulett said. “Going big and going home was a chance when this entrepreneurial opportunity landed in my lap – a perfect accident that allowed me to bring my vast production and coordination experience and excitement to NWA’s continued growth while staying close to family,” he said.

According to a news release, Acre on Holland is accepting tours and spaces for events, weddings, festivals and concerts until 2024. The site includes a 3,800-square-foot barn and a one-room chapel on the property’s front 8 acres. Approximately 50 acres are available for large events or celebrations.

The release shows that the venue is receiving some cosmetic updates, including more modern, rustic decor in the bridal suite and balcony. Exterior updates, such as landscaping and lighting additions, are expected to be completed this summer.

Founded in 2014, the venue and property remain owned by Amy and Eric Holland of Highfield. Holland Barn is no longer an active business. In Holland, Ecker has no more employees, but the business has plans to grow. More information is available online at acresonholland.com.
