As a result, she is often unemployed. This seems to be at odds with Marvel’s story, as the idyll view shows a course of events that is coordinated and only happens in one way. How can branches exist as well as a compound path? The truth is that Destiny’s vision, and thus the rest of Marvel’s history, can coexist with Idol’s abilities. Fate sees everything that will happen, but Idyll sees what will happen. If Destiny were involved in certain futures and wanted to change the course of her timeline, or if a time traveler came to Marvel’s present to avoid their future, Idyll would simply know their actions and the consequences.
