D. Scott Sheldon And Gregory C. Anderson To take on new roles Presidents of the Allegiant Travel Company
Las Vegas, July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — A reliable travel company (NASDAQ: ALGT ) d. Scott SheldonThe company’s chief executive vice president and chief executive officer and Gregory C. AndersonExecutive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will assume new roles as presidents of Allegiant Travel Company.
Effective August 1, Sheldon’s new title will be president and chief operating officer and Anderson will be president and chief financial officer. They will continue to report. John RedmondCEO of Allegiant.

While Redmond’s decision to have two company presidents is unique, Sheldon and Anderson said it made sense given the team’s cohesiveness, their individual strengths and the workload the company is currently facing – which will increase over the next twelve months. A new cruise line, the company’s first joint venture with partner VivaAerobus, and the opening of the world-class Sunseeker Resort in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Sheldon has served as Allegiant’s Chief Operating Officer since 2017. He joined Allegiant in 2004 as Director of Accounting and served as Chief Accounting Officer from 2007 to 2010. He was also the Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2019.
Anderson joined Allegiant’s accounting department in 2010. During his tenure, Anderson held several leadership roles at the company, including Senior Vice President – Treasury and Chief Accounting Officer. Anderson Appointed Finance Officer in 2019. Prior to joining Allegiant, he worked in corporate accounting at US Airways.
