L’Occitane travel retailer Asia Pacific presents a positive nature campaign

L’Occitane Travel Retail Asia Pacific has unveiled its Nature Positive campaign in Hainan, cementing its identity as a sustainable partner for natural beauty, skin care and wellness products in travel retail.

Hosted throughout September at Haiku Mova Shopping Center in collaboration with the China Duty Free Group, the animation immerses travelers into a wonderful universe featuring L’Occitane Travel Retail’s first charity partnership in China, the new travel-exclusive Wonderland Hand Cream collection, and the company’s ongoing sustainability commitments.

Designed by Korean artist Ali Kim, Nature Wonderland invites travelers into a colorful garden full of Loochita’s signature ingredients and flowers. Reinforcing its commitment to “respecting biodiversity”, Loositane has become the first company to support the “planting of gibbon trees” by Chinese non-profit organization Shanghai Roots and Shoots. A portion of the sales from the animation will fund the planting of 500 trees in Guangxi, China. In addition to protecting the environment, the grant will help restore and expand the forest habitat of the endangered eastern black-crested gibbon.

Constructed from sustainable and recyclable materials, the spectacular activation fosters a three-dimensional paradise of large trees, animals and plants that are the focal points of the traveller’s hospitality. The magical adventure includes the opportunity to enjoy a photo shoot against the backdrop of the stunning country. Explore collaborations with Shanghai Roots and Shots; And learn about the company’s promise to “reduce waste” through reusable Loositane bottle plant pots featuring the key hand cream ingredients, lavender and mint. Travelers are encouraged to visit the lavender counter to receive lavender and mint leaf seeds to inspire sustainable living at home.

The animation will be supported by the launch of limited edition, travel-retail exclusive Wonderland Hand Cream collections. Housed in eco-friendly packaging, the new range includes Wonderland Hand Cream Kit of 5 & Hand Cream Duo, presented in a tube made of 95% recycled aluminium.
