Lemont High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter was ranked among the top 10 of 14 at the 2023 FBLA State Leadership Conference last month. Students from seven events finished among the top four in their respective competitions to advance to the 2023 FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta.

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has named Doug Boehm as its new executive director.

A longtime resident of the community, Boehm joined HFPD in 2006 and has held various leadership roles, including ice rink manager, recreation superintendent and parks and planning supervisor.

Lemont High School District 210 Superintendent Mary Ticknor has been named the 2023 Superintendent of Distinction by her colleagues in the Cook South Region of the Illinois Association of School Administrators. Ticknor was honored at an awards luncheon on May 3.
