Las Vegas Apparel kicked off Las Vegas Fashion Week earlier this month, showcasing buyers and more than 100 lines from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15 at its expo at the World Market Center in Las Vegas.
The market offers clothing, accessories, gifts and home decor in a variety of temporary exhibitions and open permanent gift and home showrooms. It opened a day earlier than other Las Vegas Fashion Week venues on February 12, giving buyers a “jump” on the source.
“Las Vegas Apparel offers shoppers a unique opportunity to do business in a relaxed and intimate setting,” said Karon Stover, IMC’s senior vice president of apparel, about the fourth semi-annual edition.
The Winter 2023 edition attracted diverse buyers from 46 states and Puerto Rico retailers, as well as eight international destinations. More than half of February’s attendees were new to the market.
Thanks to the timing, in addition to the starting opportunities, the Las Vegas outfit had the opportunity to host its second annual Super Bowl viewing party. According to the press release, the evening’s event had a large audience and received excellent feedback. Other on-site amenities include daily complimentary breakfast, coffee and lunch. Activities at the market include an on-trend belt bag and custom T-shirt embroidery station, personalized hair clips and photo ops in the registration lobby and on the show floor.
“Our offerings, from select young contemporary brands to distinctive amenities and activities that are part of the overall shopping experience, are sought after by attendees, and we look forward to continuing to bring this experience to the West Coast.”
