Katy Perry has been praised for her “stunning” outfit for her performance at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation concert.

On Sunday, May 7, a day after the King and Queen were crowned in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey, the singer took to the stage on the lawn outside Windsor Castle to perform “Roar” and other popular hits.

For the event, Perry wore an off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood off-the-shoulder gold lame ball gown with matching opera-length gloves, which she paired with gold earrings and a dainty necklace.

Viewers have since declared the dress one of the best outfits of the night, with one fan writing: “Kate Perry. A Vision in Gold Lame. You might be able to see her dress from the moon.

“What a dress Katy Perry!! Go girl!” another person tweeted, while another said: “Katy Perry didn’t come to play, what a dress.”

Although the majority of comments were from viewers praising Perry’s outfit, the outfit choice prompted some to draw similarities to gold foil-quality streetwear.

“Dress code: Her favorite quality street chocolate…Katy Perry: Toffee #CoronationConcert,” one person joked, while another said: “I like it but Katy Perry’s dress reminds me of Quality Street.”

Another person wrote: “Shout out @QualityStreetUK to design @Katy Perry Dress up! The Gold Barrel #Corona concert made me want to eat.
