JetBlue flights can now be booked through Hopper and the Capital One travel portal, taking the hassle out of booking. Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card And Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card Booking through Capital One.

Major US online travel agency Hopper has announced that it has signed a distribution deal with JetBlue, meaning all JetBlue flights are available to book on the platform.

After a major change last year, Capital One Travel now uses Hopper to power its travel portal. Doing so gives it a few extra bells and whistles you won’t see on others, like the ability to discount prices, automatic refunds when prices drop, and more.

But JetBlue’s lack of fares has been a point of frustration for many, and this new JetBlue announcement means travelers can use Capital One Venture Miles directly on JetBlue flights booked through Capital One’s travel portal.

The new agreement with Hopper and JetBlue provides the ability to make pre- and post-flight selections of all JetBlue fare categories and seat selections.

Here’s an example of a JetBlue flight from Boston (BOS) to London (LHR) on the Capital One portal. Each fare class is quoted in cash and Venture Miles. As you can see, JetBlue Mint Business Class is also available through the portal.

As always, if you book through the Capital One portal, you’ll earn 5x Venture Miles on every spend. And if you hold Capital One Venture X, it also qualifies JetBlue fares for an annual $300 travel credit.

The news is a big boon for the Capital One travel portal. Until now, JetBlue was the only major airline outside of Southwest (you couldn’t book anywhere except through Southwest itself) that you couldn’t book a trip on Capital One. Some low-cost carriers like Spirit, Sun Country and Frontier have a mixed bag on Hopper as well.

As JetBlue joins the Hopper and Capital One fray, travelers — especially those based at JetBlue’s New York and Boston hubs — have another great option for low airfares this year and next.

Venture X cardholders receive an annual $300 credit to use at any point in the portal, and it starts automatically. That takes a big chunk out of the $395 annual fee — the card is a no-brainer if you plan to spend money on travel every year.

Even without the credit, Capital One’s travel portal has plenty of amenities for budget-conscious travelers. The portal uses a “price prediction” tool that will refund you if the price of your flight drops after you book. Additionally, if the same system tells you that flight prices are going down, you can use the “Watch This Trip” button to set up alerts and be emailed when it’s the best time to book.

Capital One allows users to “freeze your flight”, meaning you can hold a flight for 14 days for a small fee. So if you see a great JetBlue fare and aren’t ready to sign up yet, you can book at that price within two weeks.

at last

JetBlue flights are now available through Hopper and the Capital One travel portal, eliminating one of the disadvantages of booking airline tickets through Capital One’s booking platform.

Capital One Venture Cardholders can now book JetBlue flights directly through the portal or use Venture Miles to cover the cost of their flight.
