INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College and TechPoint today announced a partnership in support of a statewide strategy designed to strengthen the state’s reputation as a vibrant technology hub. The partnership will provide Hoosier career paths through Ivy Tech that meet employers’ needs for technology and technology-dependent talent. In October 2022, Ivy Tech announced the launch of its IT Academy this year, providing students with the fastest access to the most advanced and innovative IT training and skills. The IT Academy provides Indiana employers a “one-stop-shop” for employees seeking training with the greatest information technologies and tools available anywhere. Also in 2022, TechPoint brought together nearly 200 public, private, academic and community leaders to launch Mission41K, a bold collaborative movement to meet the needs of tech employers who are looking to Indiana as their next home.
